The 'Service Setting Review' screen can be accessed in the 'DEX Tools' suite on the Toolbar of the Work tab.
1. Click on the 'Work' tab if not already working within this area of Ivo.
2. Click the 'Show DEX Tools' button on the Toolbar to display the DEX Tools suite.

3. Click the 'Service Setting Review' button.
4. You can select the date range, though Ivo will autofill the current reporting period. You can make selections based on a single funding source by ticking the appropriate box.


5. Make the selections for the type of records you wish to review, and for Ivo Administrators you can select the 'Show file notes for all staff' option to view all staff records. Non-administrators won't be have this option displayed.
6. In the 'Default search text' field, click your mouse to reveal the list of frequently used terms based on the type of service setting described in the file note. This will search both the file note subject and notes section for any term listed.
(These terms can be determined by your organisation, and can be accessed in the Ivo Administration/General Settings/DEX Settings section of Ivo, by an Ivo Administrator).
7. Select the option you wish to search by.

8. Based on your selection Ivo only display file notes with any of the terms in the list, and will autofill the 'Set Service Setting' field with the appropriate 'Service Setting' type. If you would like to proceed with updating all file notes that match the default search text terms, click the arrow at the end of the field to update.

A secondary window will appear to notify you that the action will affect all file notes displayed in the results on the left hand side of the screen.
9. Select 'Yes' if you wish to proceed, or 'No' if you want to cancel the process.
