An organisation has -

  • Outlets - the sites from which the organisation provides services; there should be one DEX Outlet for each physical site.
  • Programs - the programs the organisation is funded to deliver 



There are three steps to configuring the organisation -

  1. Add outlets
  2. Add programs
  3. Link programs to outlets - this is the step that many organisations forget to do.  The problem is that when a program is linked to an outlet, it must be approved, which typically takes 3-4 business days. If the client is leaving their DEX reporting until the very end of the reporting period, then a new outlet/program may not get approved in time.

    To link a program to an outlet, you go into the Outlet's record and then click the Add Activity button. This needs to be done for each outlet the program will be provided from.
